The Norden Defense Roo Pouch, optimized for 5.56x45 NATO magazine carry. The Roo Pouch
completes the chest rig carry kit options to include a streamlined tactical application for the
well-rounded outdoorsman, because specialization is for insects.
The Roo Pouch complete kit includes:
- The chest rig Base.
- Chest Rig Shoulder Straps
- The Roo Pouch, quickly interchangeable with other pouches like the Utility and Bino pouches.
- A three-magazine shingle insert sized for standard NATO 5.56 mags.
- A 3” tall Roo Front Pocket designed to “hug” the front of the Roo Pouch.
- An 8” Zipper Panel, compatible with both the Roo Front Pocket and Roo Pouch - if the Roo Pouch is being used as a full-size admin pocket.
We designed the system to take the best features and add on items from popular micro rig
systems and make them available as a cohesive unit, with overlapping features usable
throughout the Norden chest rig system.
The additional retention strap included with the Roo Pouch also functions as a shoulder strap to
make the Roo Pouch function as a micro shoulder bag for carrying extra mags and medical gear
as a quick grab and go carry solution.
Designed with practical use and compatibility in mind, the Roo Pouch system adds tactical
functionality to our ever-expanding chest rig offerings.
The Roo Pouch collection is available in Multicam, Multicam Alpine, and Multicam Black. The
Shoulder Straps and Base colors will match, and the Roo Pouch and Additional Retention Strap
will match as seen in the product photos.
